She owns 2 salons in California and with clients such as Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Naomi Campbell, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sharon Stone, Penelope Cruz and Oprah, Anastasia Beverly Hills has become the go-to destination for enhancing your eye area.
I had the pleasure of meeting the eyebrow queen and getting my arches reshaped the Anastasia-way. My eyes have never looked so good.
5 Steps To Perfect Brows
This is the process I went through. Feel free to adapt it to fit your eyebrow needs and lifestyle.
1. PREP with Beauty Genius
First, apply Anastasia’s Beauty Genius Gel all over your eyebrows to tame any unruly hairs and help your powder products adhere better. This products also has waterproofing properties which is a great bonus.
2. OUTLINE with Brow Wiz
Brows are all about shape. Line the bottom of your eyebrows creating the shape you desire. Avoid making this line too angular; a curved line will look more natural. Note that your eyebrows should begin directly above your nostril and end in line with the outer corner of your eye so extend them, if necessary.
3. FILL IN with Brow Wiz
Mimicking your own brow hairs’ length and direction, fill them in by drawing small strokes with the pencil. Use the brush at the other side of the pencil to blend. Don’t be too heavy-handed though, start lightly and build the color up as you get closer to the end of your brows.
4. SEAL with Dip brow
Make your brow color pop by applying Anastasia’s Dipbrow with an angular brush using a stippling motion. As I said earlier, start lightly and build the color as you go to achieve a natural look. This product is great because it will not only boost your arches’ color, it also waterproofs them. You can literally swim in your eyebrows. Perfect for the summer!
5. ADD THE DRAMA with Brow Duality
Brow Duality is a neat jumbo highlighting pencil which is easy to apply and blend. This last step is really important because it’s where the drama is!
