It’s time for another episode of repeat offender! This installment is featuring a floral print dress by The Kit NYC. They’re a sustainable fashion brand based in New York created Project Runway finalist, Daniel Vosovic. I’ve worn and styled this dress for multiple events and photo shoots.
Sustainable Style Inspiration at Union Station
For this first look shot purely for the fun of shooting, I styled the flower printed dress with a pair of ripped ABLE jeans, a thrifted leather jacket, red Noonday Collection tote, and black suede booties.
Nature Needs Heroes Tour | New York
I took the dress on the road with me for Timberland’s ‘Nature Needs Heroes’ Tour. I wore it on our last day in New York, at the Timberland Flagship store where we had a meet and greet / shopping experience. I paired the dress with a white tee, black skinny button-front jeans by ABLE, the same thrifted leather jacket as the previous look, and Timberland boots.
‘Tour Des Canadiens’ in Montreal
How fun is this look? The red L’Intervalle patent boots are the vibe for me! They are the perfect compliment to the print of the dress. For this look, I wore a black tank top, skinny blue jeans and an envelope clutch.
Earth Day Campaign with The Kit NYC
As I’m writing this post, I’ve come to realize that I’ve worn this dress as duster more than as an actual dress. I like it both ways and really love this look. For the dress styling, I wore The Kit NYC dress with open-toed booties by BCBG Max Azria, a thrifted hat and statement earrings I got from my mother’s collection.
C2 Conference in Montreal
Spoiler alert: I wore the dress again when I had the pleasure of covering the C2 conference in Montreal. It’s obvious now that this dress is very versatile, impactful and easy to wear as a dress and as a duster with pants. This time, I styled it with skinny black leggings and a military-style cropped jacket. I also added a head wrap to the mix, for a little bit of drama.
