Aaaaahhh I am featured on Bustle.com
I am always humbled when publications I admire and respect want to write about me and my work. When Bustle.com reached out and asked to feature me as a a woman pushing boundaries within sustainability/conservation efforts and the world, I was floored.
The article, Meet 3 Women Who Are Redefining Sustainable Living in 2018, is to support North Face’s new brand campaign called Move Mountains, an initiative attempting to change the face of exploration by featuring the inspiring and relatable stories of influential women across the globe.
The campaign defines explorers as: those stretching boundaries, covering new ground and influencing others to think outside of themselves. They are mountaineers, athletes, musicians, scientists, artists, activists, mothers, students, and dreamers. I am in great company with women such as Elise Peterson (Host of Mane on NowThis), Melissa Lee (The Green Program), Reshma Saujani (Girls Who Code), Lauren Singer (Trash Is For Tossers) and Kimberly Bryant (Black Girls Code).
I am deeply invested in the betterment of our planet and of us as human beings (not human doings). Supporting our ecosystem’s delicate balance and understanding how our actions impact it fascinates me. This feature means a lot to me and I am grateful to Bustle and North Face for recognizing me and sharing my vision with the world. Thank you.
