New York Fashion Week is one of the most sought after runways in the world. Each season, celebrities, media outlets, bloggers, stylists and buyers fight over front row seats but you don’t have to. This year, NYFW will be live streaming its fashion shows for the world to see.  Designers big and small want to show their collections at NYFW because they know that showing at NYFW earns them instant street cred  and visibility. Now this visibility just got a lot bigger.
Over the past few seasons, NYFW has live streamed some of its shows but this year they are going all out! But live streaming does come with many challenges: overloaded servers, faulty cameras and delays. So let’s see if they can deliver a glitch free performance this time around.
I have both attended and watched shows online in the past and I must say that nothing beats the in-person experience. Being the people person that I am, I prefer being there but watching shows online is quite convenient as well and offers an inside look to people who might not have access to NYFW seats. The perks: it saves time, guarantees you a front row seat and avoids you having to spend hours figuring out what to wear.
