New York Fashion Week starts today and the fashion addicts could not be happier. I’ve been covering New York Fashion Week for several years and continue to look forward to it every season. It is one of the many things I love about February including my birthday. NYFW takes place twice a year at Lincoln Center in Manhattan. It draws the most interesting crowds season after season and no matter who you encounter you are bound to have a larger- than- life experience. Of course, it’s New York!
GO RED FOR WOMEN – THE HEART TRUTH will be presenting a red dress only collection at NYFW, as it is their custom. The Heart Truth campaign raises awareness on women’s heart health. This initiative sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), lifts the vale on heart disease’s symptoms and reminds women to protect their hearts. Each season designers and celebrities join forces for this great cause.
