Charity: Water’s September campaign is back. This year, the September campaign will help Charity: Water bring safe drinking water and sanitation to 100 villages in Orissa, India. The goal: $2M. 

How it works? 

To participate all you have to do is give up your September birthday to Charity: Water by asking your friends and family to donate your age (or more) in dollars instead of giving you presents. Over 900 people have already started September campaigns. Join them. 

If you are not born in September you can still be a part of this movement by donating to someone else’s campaign or by starting your own when your birthday rolls around. Birthday campaigns have been going strong for years, over 41, 5oo people have participated including Depeche Mode and $9M has been raised changing the lives of communities around the world.
