“New England meets the Tropics with the effortless California vibe.’
Whenever I come across a clothing line that is as chic as it is versatile, I have to share it with you. So, I created a 4-part lookbook to introduce you to the Conrado brand and some of my favorite pieces. What to expect? A little something like my latest Style Inspiration San Francisco Edition Look 1 | Look 2 | Look 3 posts.
Conrado is a beach-to-city clothing line ailing from sunny California. I discovered it earlier this year and I have been loving my pieces ever since. In fact, if you follow me on social media, you’ve already seen me wear one of my Conrado dresses. It was featured in my Instagram stories several times and also in my NYFW lookbook.
Conrado was created by designer Angela Sison. She named the resort-ready line after her grandfather. She was inspired by his lifestyle which opened her eyes to the great big world of travel. You see, she was born in the Philippines and grew up there in her family’s textile factory. Her grandfather who worked for Coca Cola and lived in San Francisco in the 70s – 90s passed down his love for travel and the freedom that comes with it to Sison.
After working in fashion in New York, California and Paris, she decided to venture out on her own and Conrado was born. Each Conrado collection is limited-edition because Sison uses deadstock fabrics instead of adding stress to an already waste-heavy industry.
Designed in California and made in the Philippines, Sison is constantly traveling between San Francisco, Manila and Martha’s Vineyard which keeps her inspired. I appreciate Sison’s commitment to sustainability, job creation and to designing styles we want to wear again and again.
As you will see in this 4-part lookbook, the pieces I chose can easily be worn in the hustle and bustle of the city or relaxed vibe of the beach. All the garments are unique in their own way while unanimously comfortable. They are well crafted and of great quality.
For the first look, I paired the Emily Coverall Jumpsuit with a matching turban, peep toe booties, dark sunnies and a vintage mini bucket bag I have owned for ages. I kept my jewelry simple with stud earrings, my name necklace, Welly Merck watch and Naeve bar ring.
I love how easily the Conrado pieces transition from city to the beach. This brand is perfect for travelers and people who want to get extra mileage from their closets! If you are looking for versatile fashion pieces, I highly recommend you check out Conrado’s latest collection.
PS: A little bird told me they are having a Black Friday sale! 🙂 You welcome!
