Each of the charities IIIBeCa benefits are dear to Joy Gryson’s heart.
9/11 Memorial
This cause is special to Gryson and her husband. They got married, raised their children and live in lower Manhattan (Tribeca) where the 9/11 terrorist attacks took place. It’s their home and they are committed to making sure the world never forgets what happened there.
Family Focus Adoption Services (FFAS)
Gryson’s mother co-founded this adoption agency 25 years ago. Being adopted herself, Gryson understands the need for agencies like this one and wants to ensure its longevity.
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
Sadly, Gryson’s mother-in-law past-away from cancer. She was treated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. While there she benefitted from attentive care and kindness. Gryson chose this cause as a sign of gratitude and support for their cancer research.
By using her talents as a fashion designer to benefit the work of these organizations Gryson exemplifies what Fashion With A Conscience is all about. Take this as a challenge to make an inventory of your talents and think about how you too can help people by doing what you are already gifted in.
Stay Conscious + Chic!
