If you enjoy hot fashion collaborations, you will love this one. Supermodel Karlie Kloss and Warby Parker have joined forces to create a line of cool sunglasses just in time for the hot summer months. These sunnies are unlike any others because they are not only full of personality, they also give back. As you may or may not know Warby Parker is a company that designs affordable prescription glasses and sunglasses all the while donating glasses to vision-impaired people who otherwise would not be able to afford them. The proceeds of the Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker collection will go to an organization dear to Kloss’ heart: Edible Schoolyard NYC. This non-profit organization provides low-income public schools with kitchens and gardens. They also teach students, through a hands-on curriculum, the tools to develop lifelong healthy habits.
Collaborating with Warby Parker on this capsule collection was an amazing experience. I’ve always admired their commitment to social enterprise and am so excited that our partnership is supporting Edible Schoolyard NYC’s inspiring work, Karlie says.
